FRIDAY THE 13TH (2009) -- Full Website Revised & Updated

The website for Friday the 13th (2009) has been updated and revised to its "final" form this weekend. There will be some things updated shortly, but this looks to be the real website now in action. It also features a revised trailer. http://www.msplinks.com/MDFodHRwOi8vd3d3LmZyaWRheXRoZTEzdGhtb3ZpZS5jb20=

FRIDAY THE 13TH (2009) -- Regal First Look

Friday the 13th (2009) has a feature piece on Regal Cinemas First Look now showing in theaters. First Look is shown in Regal Cinemas theaters (with the same show in most AMC Moviewatcher theaters) during the twenty odd minutes before features. It is bacically a program showing three to four short "promo" shorts on upcoming movie and tv shows as well as hosting all the commercials you love to see before movies. They usually change the program monthly, and this month the second "promo" features Friday the 13th (2009). I caught it for the first time this weekend before My Bloody Valentine. First Look is the same show for most movies, but different during family films.

FRIDAY THE 13TH (2009) -- Advertising

Well the advertising onslaught for Friday, February 13th 2009"s FRIDAY THE 13TH is getting into motion. Of course the website has been up for awhile, as well as the two trailers playing in theaters everywhere. But, now we just started getting tv spots last weekend during NFL football, theaters are displaying two posters and a standee, and now posters are popping up on NYC streets. I spotted the first rectangular sized poster above a NYC train station staircase last night after seeing My Bloody Valentine and The Unborn.

Here in New York, FRIDAY THE 13TH from New Line/Paramount has the following promotional materials out and about: * Teaser Poster - In theaters * Regular OneSheet - In theaters *Large Standee - In theaters * NYC Subway poster - In subway stations * NYC Bus ads - On sides of buses * NYC Parking Garages - Large Posters near Parking Garage exits all around the city
